Who we are

wear is built by GetWear Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17220112. For anything in this policy, write to hello@getwear.app — we read everything.

What we collect

When you submit the waitlist form we store:

• The email address you typed.
• Which form you used (homepage hero or the final block).
• The timestamp of submission.
• Your IP address, kept solely for spam and abuse prevention.

Nothing else. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics on the waitlist forms.

Why we keep it

One reason: to email you when wear opens, plus the occasional note if there's something genuinely worth saying along the way. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent, given when you submit the form.

Where it's stored

Submissions live in a Google Sheet (Google Workspace, EU region) and on the server that runs this site. Both are accessible only to the founding team. Google processes data under their standard terms — see Google's privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Until wear launches, plus 30 days after our launch email so we have a window to follow up. After that, we delete addresses that haven't converted into accounts. You can ask us to delete yours sooner — see below.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We don't sell waitlist data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to third parties. The only processors who touch it are Google (Sheets) and our hosting provider — both as data processors acting on our instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• Show you the data we hold on you.
• Correct it if it's wrong.
• Delete it.
• Withdraw consent — same effect as deletion.

Email hello@getwear.app and we'll act within seven days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), but we'd rather hear from you first.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top and email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
